When I do practical training in the specialist departments, I can find out which specific direction I would like to pursue in the future. What's also good is the fact that I can specify my personal preferences, which they will try to satisfy if possible.

This cannot be said in general, as they vary widely depending on the course of study or training. You can always find the requirements that have to be fulfilled in the corresponding job posting on our career page. You can find the postings here search for jobs.

No: you can also send your application via email to the address given in the job posting.

Your applications should contain an informative cover letter. In addition, we need your CV and your two latest (most current) school reports. If you have other certificates or reports (e.g. from internships or training), these should also be attached to the application.

You can upload the documents afterwards in your applicant profile. To do so, you must first log in and then go to the “My Profile” tab. Here you have the ability to upload attachments.

The maximum size of the individual files can be up to 5.0 MB and they can be uploaded in the following file formats: doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pdf, bmp.

You can delete and reupload your files at any time. The content of the documents cannot, however, be edited via your applicant profile.

As soon as you have applied to us, an applicant profile will be created for you. You can reach this profile through the applicant log-in area. When logged in you will see the tab “my applications”. Here you can view the current status of all of your applications to Bertrandt.

Usually, there is a deadline for application to the apprenticeships and study courses. The exact dates can vary by subsidiary and course – you can find them in the job posting in question on our career page Search for jobs

The job postings are, as a rule, online from June of the previous year, at the latest. You can apply up to the deadline or for as long as the posting is online on our career page.

Usually, there is a deadline for application to the training and study courses. The exact date can vary from course to course – but you can find it in the job posting in question. After the deadline we will start selecting candidates. In most cases, for training and study programmes, there will be an assessment centre day followed by a second round of personal interview.

The applicant interview will serve to let us get to know each other. That is why, as a rule, we start with introductions and then ask questions later, in order to get to know you better and find out what you consider important. In addition, we will give you a good view of the world of Bertrandt and explain everything of importance regarding apprenticeships and work-study programmes at Bertrandt.

An apprenticeship can take between two and three-and-a-half years, depending on the course and school qualifications. A work-study programme lasts six semesters, i.e. three years.

Apprenticeships start from the 1 August or 1 September (depending on courses of training). Work-study programmes start on 1 October.

This can be for various reasons: The application deadline could have run out or the training/course of study may not be on offer for the academic year in question. It could also be the case that it is simply too early to apply.

The best thing to do is to contact us via email or telephone (07034/656-4222) – we will be happy to advise you.
