Our application process

Applications are processes that you don’t go through every day, but rather only a few times in your career. That is why we want to make it as easy as possible for you, whether you are making a speculative application or have decided on an advertised open position.

Whether via smartphone or computer, our applications system will guide you online through all the necessary stages. Here, you can relax and read how it works.
On top of this, we are of course there for you in person if you have further questions or need support.

Online application

Our applications system is also available for mobile, that is, alongside writing an application as normal on a computer you can also easily apply by smartphone or tablet. If you wish to apply for a particular job posting, use the “apply” button in the advertisement itself. 

In both cases, the system will guide you through the application process. As a first-time applicant, you will start by creating an applicant profile. Here, we will support you by giving you the option of transferring your data directly to our pages from your XING or LinkedIn profile. Alternatively, you can use our “parsing function”, where the data from your uploaded CV are selected by the system and entered into the boxes. 

If you already have an applicant profile with us, all your data will have been saved already, and we will make it possible for you to send your application with a single click on “send application directly”, without going through the whole process again. 

You can also register in our candidate pool. As recruiters, we have the opportunity to address you explicitly if we have a job that fits your profile. You will also receive information about our company at regular intervals and get to know us better. If you no longer wish to do so, you can withdraw your membership in the "Candidate Pool Bertrandtgroup" at any time via your login.

Selection process

After your application has been submitted, we will review your documents and come to an agreement with the specialist field in question. 

Telephone/Skype interview

If your documents convince us, we will invite you to take part in a telephone or Skype interview in the first instance. 

Personal interview

After this, if both sides are interested, we will get to know you personally in a face-to-face interview. Special selection procedures, such as assessment centres or online tests, are only carried out in special cases (e.g. in apprentice selection, for special positions etc.).

If you have questions during this process, you can contact the HR manager who is responsible for the placement. You can find their contact data in the job posting or in the application confirmation which you received by email.
