Whether it is a single vehicle or a small production series, a passenger car or a truck, we provide all services and comprehensive expertise throughout the entire life cycle of vehicle prototypes. We have huge capacities available at our three sites in the north and south of Germany, with a working area of around 70,000 m2 and more than 180 lifting platforms. This enables our vehicle assembly teams to react quickly and flexibly to construct both large numbers of vehicles and individual ‘one-off’ prototypes and to put them into operation with all their functions.
Our team benefits from more than 20 years of experience gained from cooperation with major car and truck manufacturers and with start-ups. It combines all of the necessary specialist qualifications, such as mechatronics, mechanics, and electrical engineering, as well as the relevant skills in building vehicle prototypes, such as qualifications in the use of high-voltage systems, certificates for the handling of explosive materials, and much more besides. And if solutions are required for more specific issues, we can flexibly access the development expertise of the entire Bertrandt Group.
In our cooperation with our customers, we attach great importance to providing the optimum individual solutions, process transparency, and services for their vehicle prototypes, concept cars, pre-series vehicles, and endurance test vehicles. If required, we work with our customers’ own systems, but in addition to the standard programs, we also use our own tools to digitally represent the process, such as our workshop ordering system.
Benefit from our expertise in the construction and conversion of complete vehicles, vehicle prototypes, concept vehicles, pre-series and endurance test vehicles throughout their entire life cycle:
In addition to our range of services for the construction and conversion of complete vehicle prototypes, we can also offer our customers any related services they may require. This applies in particular to the fields of design modeling, body engineering, finishing, disassembly and disposal, and parts management/logistics.
