Site history and key focus areas
Since it was founded in 1993, the Rüsselsheim site, which forms part of the Bertrandt network, has provided services for customers in the context of complex projects across all the stages of the development process, from styling and product development to production start-up and support.
The site specialises in component and complete vehicle development covering areas such as powertrains, electronics development, simulation and validation, together with supporting services, which include quality and project management.
In the new building in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, which Bertrandt Rüsselsheim moved into in 2001, there are rooms available for suppliers to use. This allows for joint development projects to take place under one roof. Close cooperation among the group's 37 sites enables all the sites to cover the entire portfolio of service.
