Site history and key focus areas
The Hamburg site was founded in 2000 to provide services for automotive and aviation companies in the area.
In Hamburg and Bremen, Bertrandt develops comprehensive solutions for the aviation, automotive and shipbuilding industries, focusing on developing and simulating composite components and hybrid structures, developing and integrating cabin components, systems definition and integration and services relating to the interface between development and production. Other services in the site's portfolio include project, process, quality and tolerance management, electronics development, virtual reality, design and prototype construction. The Hamburg site is also responsible for coordinating all the group's aircraft construction activities via the Bertrandt network.
