One of the easily deployable yet highly effective solutions within the “Production Cluster” is the in-house developed evoVIU camera, which enables efficient and forward-looking industrial image processing. Whether used as a stand-alone solution or integrated into existing systems, the camera can be deployed directly in current production environments and serves as a key factor for quality assurance and process optimization. Until now, this area has often been considered complex and difficult to access. evoVIU changes this: with an intuitive, browser-based no-code application that can be used flexibly, image processing becomes accessible to all user groups – regardless of prior knowledge or existing systems. The result is efficient, scalable processes that integrate seamlessly into existing production environments and pave the way for future-ready value creation.
The VIU1 and VIU2 camera models cover a wide range of conventional and AI-based applications—from simple data capture to real-time analysis of complex production data. This enables efficient implementation of processes such as completeness checks, quality assurance, surface inspections, measurements, object and text recognition, as well as AI-based classifications and anomaly detection, all of which can be integrated directly into the factory infrastructure via the cameras. Thanks to flexible workflows, companies can quickly develop, test, and adapt image processing applications—without extensive programming or external support. Depending on the use case, customers can benefit from productivity increases of up to 40 percent and a reduction in error rates by up to 90 percent.
evoVIU enables seamless integration into existing systems and scales projects flexibly and cost‑efficiently across various development stages. “With evoVIU, we are closing the gap between complex image processing and intuitive usability.
