At the end of 2021, we reached an agreement with the Philotech Group on a takeover, and since the beginning of 2022 the antitrust authorities have given their clearance. We are pleased to welcome the Philotech Group to Bertrandt. With the acquisition, our growth areas of software, electronics and IT security will be further expanded in cooperation.
The Philotech Group has been a specialist in demanding, integrated development projects in the fields described for 35 years. The core competencies in the aerospace sector are, for instance, flight control systems, avionics system and software development as well as their integration and security as well as Maintenance concepts. In the automotive sector, the focus is on autonomous systems, e-mobility and connectivity. In addition, Philotech also develops innovative solutions for customers in the telecommunications and transportation.
Together with Philotech, we will offer complementary scopes of services and extended solution competencies from a single source.
