Overall, vehicle development in the area of interior equipment is now facing greater transformations than in the past 50 years taken together. The trend toward autonomous driving demands a completely new passenger compartment design, and a new orientation in functional safety right to new kinds of concepts for covering elements (trim) and lighting design.
Bertrandt is one of the development service providers with the longest experience in the area of interior equipment. We work for all the major car manufacturers and system suppliers and for roughly 40 years we have developed our own seat concepts, solutions for cockpit development, and the covering elements (trim). We have also been developing concepts for lighting design for almost 20 years.
