Interoperability makes the difference.

It determines trust, everyday usability, and the success of electromobility.

Growing diversity brings growing challenges

Electromobility is accelerating faster than ever. New vehicle models are launched every month, software updates are released weekly, and charging hardware continues to evolve with varying performance levels and protocols. For customers, this sounds like progress—and it is. But behind the scenes, a complex system is emerging where every detail must be perfectly aligned.

One thing is clear: a charging experience only convinces when the vehicle and charging station communicate smoothly. No error messages. No interruptions. No unpleasant surprises. A single failed charging session can damage trust—not just in one model, but in the entire technology.

Why interoperability is the game changer

This is exactly where we come in. Together with leading manufacturers, we test and validate all communication paths—from high power charging to AC solutions from smaller providers. Our ambition is clear: every combination of vehicle and charging point must work reliably. Anywhere. Anytime.

Interoperability is far more than a technical buzzword. It is the invisible foundation of a functioning market. Only when systems communicate with each other does electromobility achieve what it truly needs: everyday usability.

Interoperability is the basis for making electromobility a natural part of everyday life.

Real-world testing instead of lab theory

In our charging park, we test not only in theory, but as close to reality as possible. Different grid types, country-specific requirements, software versions, load situations, and user behavior—all of this is incorporated into our test environments.

We simulate typical real-life scenarios: smart home integration, different vehicle types, varying charging capacities, and real user interactions.

This allows us to identify communication issues at an early stage and ensure that software and hardware are precisely aligned. Interoperability must not only work in the lab—it must work in real life.

Why collaboration makes the difference

As an independent development partner, we operate between worlds—vehicle manufacturers and charging infrastructure providers. This understanding of both sides makes us particularly effective.

We test worldwide—directly on-site with our customers or at our own locations. We always look at charging infrastructure holistically: realistically, practically, and with a clear goal—a future where electromobility simply works. Without charging frustration. Without compromise.

Interoperability creates trust

A stable charging process is more than a technical requirement. It determines acceptance, trust, and market dynamics. That’s why we continuously work to improve charging experiences and identify risks early on.

Interoperability is not a process. It is a promise. And we make sure it is kept.
