Basics of SysML

The basic training of SysML (Systems Modeling Language) is a training program that aims to familiarize engineers and professionals in the field of Systems Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering (SE/MBSE) with the basics and application of SysML. SysML is a standardized modeling language developed specifically for Systems Engineering / Model Based Systems Engineering. The training focuses on providing participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze, design, document and manage systems using SysML.

Target group:

The training is aimed at engineers, specialists and managers who have already completed Module 1 and are interested in more in-depth basics of SysML
In addition, the training is aimed at future domain architects at functional or logical level

Requirements: Previous knowledge of systems engineering (studies / further training) or Module 1: Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (SE/MBSE) – Principles Systems Engineering (G-LADM_EE96)

Important information:

The webinars focus on the creation of a SysML model using the content you have learned.
A Cameo license is made available to you via virtual machines for the duration of the training.

Training objectives:

Participants have become familiar with the different types of diagrams.
Participants learned how these diagrams are used to model system architectures, interactions between components, behaviors and functions.
In addition, participants also learned about the basic concepts of SysML, such as the concept of blocks, ports, connections and interfaces.
Participants are given the knowledge and skills to work effectively with SysML and to analyze and model complex systems.

Duration: 24h

Teaching method: The training is a blended learning format: it consists of a mandatory kick-off, a two-week self-study phase, mandatory dailies with the trainer (where questions from the self-study can be answered promptly) and two mandatory webinars (each lasting 3 hours).

Certificate: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
