This training aims to familiarize engineers and requirements engineering professionals with the basic principles and methods. It focuses on providing participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to elicit, document, align and manage requirements.
The training consists of e-learning (based on the IREB handbook) and a classroom/online seminar with best practices. Finally, participation in the IREB CPRE Foundation Level certification exam is made possible. The price for the certification is included in the total training price.

Important information: 

• The e-learning, including the final quiz, must be completed before the start of the classroom/online training; not all of the e-learning content relevant to the exam is repeated there.
• At least 70% of the achievable points are required to pass the certificate examination.
• Please bring a valid photo ID with you to the training! A time bonus can be applied for non-native speakers (see e-learning).

Training objectives: 

• You are able to determine requirements using various methods.
• You can formulate requirements with high quality.
• You will be able to understand simple UML diagrams.
• You will have become familiar with the most important management methods for requirements over their life cycle.
• You know the important terms of requirements engineering.
• After the training and corresponding self-study, you can take the IREB certification exam by the company GASQ.

Duration: 36 hours (20h e-Learning + 16h classroom or online training) 

Teaching method: Blended learning format: An e-learning (effort approx. 20h) at an individual learning and time pace for the acquisition of exam-relevant knowledge, as well as a classroom or online training (16h) to impart best practices and additional knowledge for everyday life. This combination prepares participants in the best possible way for the official IREB CPRE Foundation Level exam, which is also part of the training. The price for the certification is included in the total training price.

Certificate: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and an unlimited IREB CPRE Foundation Level certificate if they pass the certification exam.
