This course builds on the principles introduced in CM2-01 through CM2-03 and focuses on the CM2 Change Process, which is self-contained and includes a Fast-Track option.
If an organization is unable to manage the Digital Thread, it will also be unable to incorporate changes efficiently. Most companies have specialists for each core discipline but lack a discipline dedicated to managing the incorporation of changes.
This course addresses the importance of an enterprise-wide change process and the roles, responsibilities, and workflows required for a world-class organization to implement changes as efficiently as possible. It emphasizes maintaining an intact Digital Thread across all product lifecycle phases and ensuring the Digital Twin remains accurate.
The course demonstrates the power and efficiency of the CM2 process, which depends on the principles introduced in courses CM2-01 through CM2-03.
When the method presented in this course is applied, organizations will no longer view the change process as a necessary evil but as a competitive advantage.
