Subsidiary development
Core competencies The Bertrandt subsidiary in Neckarsulm undertakes a variety of on-site activities for clients in the automotive industry. The main emphasis of the services offered for vehicle exteriors is in the development of lids/tailgates and mudguards and in the design of bumpers including energy management and the special consideration that needs to be given to the aspect of pedestrian protection. Door design is then added to the range of services. The facility has experience in the use of a wide range of materials. The services offered by the Neckarsulm subsidiary are rounded off by special know-how in interiors (seat design) and experience in the development of power supply cabling systems and tool design. An additional service offered to clients by the testing department is component testing and pedestrian protection as well as protection against the need to test for model damage. An important feature is the ability to offer training to employees and clients using our own CATIA training centre in Neckarsulm. Within the Bertrandt network, the facility in Heilbronn provides a service for the end-to-end development of modules and vehicle derivatives. Main customers Audi AG, quattro GmbH, Dr. Ing. h.c. F.
