Core competencies
The core competencies of the Munich subsidiary are in the areas of the drive train and running gear with particular emphasis on motor sport. In vehicle interiors, the emphasis is on the cockpit, panelling, seats and restraint systems, while in vehicle exteriors it is on bodyshell and bodyshell add-on parts as well as package. The facility is also active in the field of motor cycle development (design and testing) and provides project management and FEM/CAx support. In the field of electrics/electronics, Bertrandt Munich is engaged in the development of hardware and software, simulation, system and module support as well as investigation of individual components and entire vehicles. In testing, the key aspects are the drive train development as well as the testing of internal and external components, acoustics, passive drive safety and the verification of complete vehicles. The facility also produces solutions in the fields of model build, NC and sheet metal prototypes. The range of services is completed by the complete vehicle testing and our expertise in the area of Supporting Services (project, quality, environmental and system management).
