Since 2001 the Technikum in Ehningen consists of the following establishments:

  • Bertrandt Ingenieurbüro GmbH, Stuttgart (1987)
  • Bertrandt Prototypen GmbH (1995) and
  • Bertrandt Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH (2000)


Through successive growth

2003 spacer_28px.png Takeover of an existing design center in Flacht - service spectrum extension with its own styling studio.
2005   Altenburg operating site establishment - providing engineering services along the process chain.
2006   Markdorf (Bodensee) operating site establishment to support system suppliers in fields of electronics development.
2008   Establishment of further operating sites in Flacht, Leonberg, Nufringen ans Weissach to depress the collaboration with our main customers.

Core competence
Today the service spectrum of the Ehningen subsidiary includes car body development with model building/design, body-in-white/doors/closures, interior/exterior fields and the development of components as for example heating/climate and fuel systems.
The second principle activity entail electrics/electronics, engine development and chassis development, testing and engineering services.
Interface areas are project management, technical calculation, quality assurance and surface development in particular. In the Bertrandt network, the Technikum covers the comprehensive development of modules and vehicle derivatives.
