Revenues and earnings raised once again in the 3rd quarter of fiscal 2007/2008
Growth driver for Europe intact all in all “Bertrandt continued to grow in the 3rd quarter of the current financial year too”, reported CEO Dietmar Bichler. With revenues up 28.2 percent to EUR 316.3 million (previous year EUR 246.8 million), the Company continued its successful trend of business. EBIT was raised 65.1 percent to EUR 35.5 million (previous year EUR 21.5 million). Earnings after income taxes came to EUR 25.1 million (previous year EUR 14.1 million). Bichler attributed the good revenue and earnings situation to the increasing demand for superior development services, the resultant high level of capacity utilisation in the operating units as well as targeted cost management. Furthermore, Bertrandt has steadily extended its range of services over the past few years. This and Group-wide cooperation between specialist departments make it possible to meet customers’ specific wishes even better. Dietmar Bichler sees further opportunities for Bertrandt despite the current challenging state of the global economy. “New technologies and draft legislation offer potential for providers of engineering services that are capable of developing complex and forward-looking mobility solutions”, Bichler declared.
