Customer-oriented services for a mobile world
The Bertrandt AG is present at the IAA 2007 (International Motor Show) in Frankfurt as a high performance partner of the manufacturing and system supplying industry from 11 until 23 September. The engineering partner again wants to make the most of the IAA as a platform to allow intensive insights into the Bertrandt world. Additionally Competence Centre Days take place for the first time from 17 to 21 September, on which alternating exhibits are shown and presentations held.

Also this year the enterprise places the visitors’ well-being into the foreground by presenting its services and extending an invitation to reenergize. "As one of the leading engineering service providers in Europe, Bertrandt covers the entire value-added chain of product design", Chief Executive, Dietmar Bichler explained the business model of the engineering partner on occasion of the 62nd IAA in Frankfurt. In the development of future-arranged mobility the enterprise is thereby an independent advisor and practice-oriented implementer for its customers and business partners. "We regard ourselves as a qualified partner for substantial innovation drivers and their implementation into complex vehicle developments", the Chief Executive added. "More than 30 years of comprehensive development know-how qualifies us for the fastidious assignments of the vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers." Thus in the last years Bertrandt extended its core business, namely "design and develop-ment of components, modules and vehicle variants" with advanced and post-production services, like quality management, operator models and financial engineering or logistics services. Beyond that, know-how was merged in competence centres and interlaced com-pany-wide. Also in the future Bertrandt wants to continue moving in the direction of growth and recently enhanced the commercial services and advanced training range.

Fascinating exhibits and presentations
In the public week Bertrandt awaits the visitors with different presentations and exhibits on the Competence Centres Electrics/Electronics, Interior/Design Services, Powertrain, Body-in-White, Simulations as well as Testing and Validation from Monday to Friday. Additionally Bertrandt invites interested visitors to the "France day", which gives an idea of the engineering experience on the French market.
