Revenues and EBIT increased again in the first half-year 2006/07

The Bertrandt Group could further grow in the first half-year 2006/07. The development partner for the international automotive and aviation industry increased its revenues with 39.3 per cent to 158,390 thousand Euros compared to the first six months of the previous financial year. The EBIT came to 12,867 thousand Euros. This corresponds to a growth of 111.3 per cent in comparison to the previous year. Altogether 558 new jobs could be created in the first six months of the current financial year.

Good operational capacity utilisation in the company
Bertrandt could further develop its position on the market for engineering services in the first half-year 2006/07. The positive revenues and earnings Board Chairman, Dietmar Bichler ascribes to an increased volume of business and in consequence its good optimized capacity utilisation within all operational ranges. "Our strict cost management, clearly defined processes and the structured work of our employees are further important factors, to be successful as an enterprise", the Bertrandt CEO adds.

Further growth planned in Europe
The positive development of the engineering service provider is also evident in the number of employees. Bertrandt employed 4,135 employees in the first half-year 2006/07. With its highly-qualified personnel, as well as a broad service spectrum the engineering service provider considers itself positioned well, in order to also consistently make the most of future chances on the market and further expand the enterprise.
