Today Bertrandt AG has been listed on the stock exchange for ten years. The development service provider for the international automotive and aviation industry completed its successful stock exchange listing on 1 October 1996 in Frankfurt/Main. Services were continuously expanded since then, sales profits and the number of employees have been multiplied.

Lasting know-how development
The decade from 1996 to 2006 was characterised by strong growth regarding subsidiaries, the service range and technical competence. We have developed from an engineer's office to a world-wide operating engineering partner. Back then, active as an extended workbench for the automotive industry, we today cover the complete process chain with component, module and derivative development. Without the stock exchange listing that would not have been possible", Dietmar Bichler, Chairman of the Executive Committee, summarizes. The Bertrandt Group today offers many additional services apart from the classical body-in-white, interior and exterior development fields, such as process and project management. Beyond that, the service range in the business fields "Electronics", "Engineering Services", "Powertrain" and "Testing" was consistently developed.

Expansion in aviation
Since 2000 Bertrandt additionally supports the international aircraft manufacturers as well as their supplier with extensive development know-how. Through the co-operation with EUROAER in November 2005, Bertrandt intends to further develop its positioning in the aviation segment.

Ten years intensive dialogue with the capital market
With the first listing on the stock exchange intensive communication with the capital market participants began for Bertrandt. Investors, private investors, analysts as well as the representatives of the economic and financial press are informed promptly and comprehensively about the current events of Bertrandt AG. On 1 October 1996 the Bertrandt share increased to 6.65 Euros per share. On 29 September 2006 the share value was 11.15 Euros.

Positive company development continues
Bertrandt could more than multiply the revenues from 1996 to 2006. The number of employees increased by 361 per cent from 663 to 3,338 as at 30 June 2006. However in the current financial year approximately 337 new jobs could be created. Dietmar Bichler is confident: "Great chances exist for Bertrandt due to the clear positioning as a partner of the international automotive and aviation industry. Therefore we further expect positive revenues and earnings."
