Testing environmental influences
Extensive testing of possible environmental influences on vehicles is carried out at Bertrandt on more than 30 different test rigs and using simulations. Heat and cold, salt water, dust and sunlight are the main ingredients in this comprehensive test programme. Close cooperation with the component testing and complete vehicle testing teams allows individual test areas to be combined. For example, vibration tests can be carried out at different temperatures.
