Focus on comfort
The development of the interior plays a central role in the process of producing new cars and aircrafts. Car manufacturers are increasingly using design elements and surface textures as important differentiating features in vehicle interiors. In the aircraft industry each individual plane may have its own cabin design. The focus in interior design is on ergonomics, comfort and functionality. Complex components and modules, such as the dashboard or seat units, are designed and thoroughly tested by the Bertrandt Engineering Network. The interfaces to the bodywork and testing teams are taken into account at an early stage.

Design Services

  • Design/Surfacing/Virtual Reality
Successful design is the emotional connection between form and function. We already support our customers upstream of the product development process in the design identification stage.

Cockpit

  • Instrument Panel/Centre Console
In addition to functionality and manufacturing feasibility, the focus is on maximum safety requirements as well as perceived value and ergonomics. The active and passive safety standards are fulfilled by the simultaneous coordination of the design and simulation teams.

  • Component Development/Integration
The existing package space must always be optimally used. Services such as DMU, PMU and prototyping are equally important here. Together with the manufacturer and supplier, we simultaneously plan the interaction between components during assembly as well as their disassembly and functions.
