Expansion of Services for Pedestrian Safety

Bertrandt Ingolstadt is investing in a further testing laboratory for pedestrian safety with a special focus on pedestrian safety sensor systems. The new testing laboratory is an ideal expansion of the existing plant facilities. The state-of-the-art technology of the electromagnetic accelerator makes it possible to perform tests with all impactors up to a speed of 55 km/h and, in combination with climate control technology, can carry out the tests under temperature conditions ranging from -40°C to +85°C.

Bertrandt Wins Lünendonk Award 2013 in the "Performance" Category

In April 2013, a neutral jury composed of 14 editors-in-chief and business editors of German media announced the winners of the 2013 Business-to-Business Service Award presented by Lünendonk GmbH in the categories Innovation, Performance and Lifetime Achievement. Bertrandt won the award in the "Performance" category. The jury said that its decision was based on the "company's manpower" and the "innovations and development support for customers" as well as the successful development of the company in 2011 and 2012.
